Who knew camping in Arizona could be so much fun!
After five years we finally convinced Rob to go camping. We all were a little afraid of what creepy crawlies might be in the Arizona wilderness. But we decided to brave it, and boy are we glad we did. We went about ninety minutes north from our house. To an area called Christopher Creek. It was beautiful 70 degree weather. It felt a little chilly compared to the hot weather we are used to. It was amazing what a difference it was being so close to home. It was green all around with ponderosa pines. The elevation was 7700 feet.

Kids do say the cutest things. A couple of weeks ago when we told Cameron we were going camping. He said he did not want to go because he was afraid of the bears. Luckily when we got there he did not read the signs that warned we were in "Bear Country". Even better luck, we did not see any BEARS. The only growls we heard were coming from our tent (Rob's snoring).

Cameron did burn his hand on the tent heater. We were gratefull that it was not too bad. He said he didn't know it was hot, because it wasn't plugged in. :(
The kids all had a great time, and can't wait to go back.
