It's Christmas Eve. I love this day each year. The excitement and anticipation are so high, that the day seems to last forever. It's also a time to remember Christmas' past. This year Rob and I have spent 17 Christmas' together. I can't believe that. The kids are all wishing for Christmas surprises and can't wait for bedtime.

We miss and love everyone and hope to see you all soon.

It's been a fun day with the kids. We spent the afternoon at the movies. It's hard to get in the holiday spirit when it nearly 90 degrees outside. The kids are getting excited to have their cousins visit from Utah. Cameron has been counting down the days. We finally finished the Book of Mormon as a family. The kids were so proud of this huge accomplishment. We started the beginning of the year and read nearly every night. It truly brought the spirit into our home. We love and miss everyone. Hopefully we will see some of you before Christmas.

Hello Again,

I guess we are not very good about updating our blog. Maybe someday we will have more time. It seems like we are all running in different directions. The kids all went back to school in July. We are finally settling into a routine. I can't believe that my baby started kindergarten. He is adjusting so well. He did not even miss us. On one hand that's great on the other it is kind of sad how grown up he is. Ashley started middle school and seems to be adjusting to having multiple teachers. This made me feel old. I remember junior high and the moms weren't young or cool. And I guess I am one of them yikes! Kelsie is doing great in third grade, she really loves her new teacher. It is still very hot here. We miss everyone!

Hopefully we will get better about updating this! I will set a goal. (ha ha)

Here is a picture of the kids at Delicate Arch. We all survived the long hike. It was worth it once we got there.
Hello All,

We are in sunny Moab, Utah visiting Mary's parents. We have been acting like true tourists and hiked through Arches National Park yesterday. All five of us made it on the 3 mile round trip hike to Delicate Arch. Cameron rode a least half way on Robert's shoulders. Ashley and Kelsie were troopers and walked the whole way. We also hiked up to window arches. Cameron was hoping to find a snake on the way. Luckily we did not find one. We did see a chipmunk and a deer. We saw plenty of lizards as well. Today we went to Dead Horse Point State Park. We took Mary's sister Megan with us. What a beautiful sight to behold. It makes you realize how spectactular nature can be. It also made me contemplate how the world was created by our loving Heavenly Father. I will post some photos when we get home. We will be in Moab until July 3rd, and then we will be headed for a few days in Salt Lake. We are excited to go to the Phelps Family Reunion.

This is us in Maui in June of 07. What a fun trip that was. We wish we were going back this year. This year we are planning to stay closer to home and visit family. I still think we might go somewhere big. Because if you have known us for anytime at all you know we can't resist. Being with the family where ever we may be is always our best times. But it is always nice to have a beach nearby!

Welcome to the first Gordon family blog. We are finally joining the computer era, and thought it would be fun to keep you updated on our family. We really don't know much about blogging, but we will give it a shot.

Just a quick update on the kids. Ashley and Kelsie finished school the end of May. Cameron fininshed preschool a little earlier in May. It is hard to believe that he will start kindergaren soon. They are excited to start summer vacation. We have already gone to the Arizona Science Center and a quick trip to Salt Lake. It was a lot of fun to see cousins on Mom's side of the family. Spending the day with Bryan and Ann's family.

We really are hoping to see everyone at the upcoming Phelps Family Reunion in July. Just in case you don't know it is scheduled for July 3-5 in Grantsville at the Phelps compound (as Robert loving refers to it). Hopefully more information while follow.

That's all folks!
